The Missouri Department of Conservation is set to host a fly fishing and fly tying workshop on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The workshop will be open to the public and will be offered free of charge.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and will include lessons on fly tying as well as proper fly fishing technique.

BATON ROUGE , La. A small, young Baton Rouge company is growing in hard times — and signing big clients — by turning training digital.
Learning Sciences Corp. , about 18 months old, has signed The Fox Network Group , NBC Universal , the Sports Production Safety Group, the HEI hotel management company, PCS Nitrogen in Geismar and Louisiana state government agencies, says Chief Executive Officer Peter J. Ranzino .
The firm has created two programs for Fox. One explains hearing safety practices required by OSHA .

So far, our visit to the Georgia Aquarium has taken us through a corridor of endlessly racing, mesmerizing jack crevalles , delicate jellies dazzling us with their floating dance , a kelp forest and the biggest coral reef exhibit I've ever seen, complete with waves surging dramatically overhead.
River Scout, Georgia Explorer , Tropical Diver and Cold Water Quest are definitely worth visiting.
The touch-pools are a visual and tactile treat, and offer more than the standard horseshoe crabs and starfish.

The Toyota Texas Bass Classic, the professional bass fishing world championship, will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports today.
The broadcast will air from 1-2 p.m. and will feature highlights from three days of competition, with a focus on the crowning of the 2009 Toyota Texas Bass Classic champion.
"This will be a show that no fishing fan wants to miss," said CBS co-host Dave Mercer.
